The others are used a grand total of once per powerup. Only the first three are used constantly throughout the game: Smoke, Ball and Buzzsaw. When a puzzle is completed, Casper gains a powerup which he can morph into. ThereвЂ™s about 10 jigsaw puzzles in all, each with four (randomly-hidden) pieces to find. The game is split into three acts, with the second act being ridiculously long compared to the other two, mainly due to searching through the gigantic maze of a house to find the pieces.

The voice actors for Casper and the Ghostly Trio from the movie reprise their roles in this game too. The graphics and music are fairly good, and it is certainly a challenging game, even if it does involve backtracking through the house several times to find all the jigsaw pieces. While this isnвЂ™t exactly the worst game in the world, itвЂ™s not exactly fantastic either. IвЂ™d seen other LPs before, but most players had given up after 3 or 4 parts.Д«ecause Casper is one of my favourite movies (the 1995 one with Christina Ricci and Bill Pullman), and because video games based on movies tend to suck, I wasnвЂ™t expecting a fantastic game.

Thankfully, my cousin is an expert at this game, and with help from him and using InsaneSpyro01вЂ™s LetвЂ™s Play (the only complete LP IвЂ™d seen on YouTube) IвЂ™d managed to successfully do a LP of it 10 parts plus a bonus 11th. It had been 11 years since IвЂ™d last played this game, thus when I played it for a LetвЂ™s Play I did at Halloween last year, it was mostly blind. (Contains spoilers for those who havenвЂ™t played the game, and possibly movie spoilers) I thought IвЂ™d kick off with a game that I recently LPed (and thankfully finished!) - Casper on PS1. And since IвЂ™m feeling quite nostalgic now, letвЂ™s begin. Every now and then IвЂ™ll do a blog post on video games, TV shows and movies from my childhood.
